GCSE Chemistry Rapid recall

Recall decks covering the whole GCSE chemistry course, written against the AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications. Short enough to run before school, specific enough to find the gaps.

Written for AQA, Edexcel, OCR Gateway and OCR 21st Century.

Why it matters

Why this matters at GCSE

  • GCSE chemistry rewards a large amount of recallable detail - ion tests, reactivity order, formulae - and none of it survives being read once in April.
  • Definitions and equations are worth marks stated exactly. Cards force the exact wording rather than the rough idea.
  • Working one topic at a time makes gaps visible early enough in Years 10 and 11 to do something about them.

Topic decks

The GCSE course, deck by deck

One deck per topic area, so you can work on the thing you are actually stuck on rather than shuffling the whole specification together. This is the shape of the GCSE course and what each deck has to cover.

Decks are being written and uploaded now. Search the catalogue to see exactly what has landed so far.

A routine that works at GCSE

Two decks a week alongside your normal homework, then a re-run of anything you missed the following weekend. Fifteen minutes a session is enough - consistency beats length.
